ParcelCam (“we”, “the app”) helps packing stations record packing videos and photos as evidence.
This policy explains what data the app and related services collect, how it is used, and your choices.
1. Data we process
- Camera & microphone: used to record packing videos and finish photos. Media stays on your device unless you export, share, or transfer it.
- Photos / videos / notes / AWB codes: stored locally on the device (app storage / SQLite). You control export, share, Wi‑Fi transfer, and deletion.
- Device identifiers: a random device UUID and account code for license / Pro entitlement checks (not your Google account password).
- Purchase / license data: subscription or lifetime purchase tokens, plan status, and coupon redemptions may be verified with our license server.
- Push notification token: Firebase Cloud Messaging token so we can send optional admin alerts.
- Ads (free users): Google AdMob may collect advertising identifiers and device/ad interaction data per Google’s policies.
- Analytics: Firebase Analytics may collect anonymized app usage events (screens, crashes-related signals as configured).
2. What we do not collect
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We do not require your name, email, or phone number to use the free app (unless you choose to put operator/shop text into watermarks or notes).
- We do not upload packing videos to our servers by default. Local Wi‑Fi transfer happens only on your network when you start Transfer.
3. How data is used
- Provide packing evidence recording, watermarking, history, export, and transfer features.
- Enforce free daily limits and Pro entitlements / device limits.
- Show ads to free users; remove ads for Pro where applicable.
- Send optional push notifications about the service.
- Improve reliability and understand aggregate usage via Analytics.
4. Third-party services
- Google Play Billing — purchases and subscriptions.
- Google AdMob — advertising. See Google Privacy Policy.
- Firebase (Google) — Cloud Messaging and Analytics. See Firebase Privacy.
- License server hosted at
https://packproof.liteshoper.com — account / device / entitlement / FCM registration.
5. Data retention
- On device: packing media and logs remain until you delete them or uninstall the app.
- On server: account, device UUID, entitlement, and FCM token records are kept while needed for licensing and notifications; inactive test/orphan records may be removed by administrators.
6. Children’s privacy
ParcelCam is intended for business / warehouse packing use. It is not directed at children under 13.
7. Your choices
- Deny camera / mic / notification permissions in Android settings (some features will not work).
- Delete local evidence from History / Transfer tools, or clear app storage / uninstall.
- Upgrade to Pro to remove ads (where offered).
- Opt out of personalized ads via Android advertising / Google settings where available.
8. Security
We use HTTPS for license and push registration APIs. Media you keep on the phone is protected by your device lock and Android storage rules.
No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the app after updates means you accept the revised policy.
